Design-
A package design was needed for the launch of the Timex Bike Mount. This package was designed to clean up the look of Timex accessory products while defining a look for future offerings within the Sports and Fitness category. Like other packages of its kind, the design needed a clear window which would serve to showcase the product within.

Cost Savings-
By choosing to make the packge prodiminantly paper board with a small thermoformed insert, the overall cost of the package was less than half as much as other accessoy packaging which commonly used a PVC clamshell format.

Sustainability-
The package is made of 100% recycled paperboard with 85% post-consumer fiber content. The blister insert is easy to remove as it is held in by friction alone and is made of PET, the most commonly recycled plastic.

Operational Improvement-
The simple construction and intuitive mating of parts allows for fast and simple assembly. Additionally the compact, light-weight design is cost-effective for worldwide distribution.
