Job Summary
Latitude 33 Aviation is currently seeking to add a proven and experienced charter operation professional to its stellar team.
Our charter department is responsible for managing existing client relationships (to include aircraft owners), acquiring new charter customers (both retail clients and air charter brokers), and oversee all private and Charter flight logistics. In addition to growing and nurturing client relationships, the charter department takes pride in providing top tier customer service before, during and after the flight quoting, sales, scheduling and support process. Our experienced sales team takes the responsibility seriously, to safety, our careers, and our company’s goal to achieve the highest standard. 
The successful candidate will have a proven history of Aircraft Operations (or similary industry) success and know how to create customer loyalty. This person will have exemplary communication/interpersonal skills, capacity for leadership, and can think clearly under pressure.
Responsibilities and Duties

• After hours (evening), weekend, and holiday on-call rotation will be required and a shared responsibility within the department assigned by seniority. This is a mandatory requirement for the role.
• Providing department leadership by not only excelling at the charter quoting and booking process, but also taking ownership of decisions made by the department, providing training to other employees, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Training is provided and support will be available, but the ability to work unassisted, manage time and tasks effectively, and be self-starter is required.
• Delivering on the company promise of providing a higher level of service in the private aviation industry. Exceeding customer service expectations is a daily requirement.
• This includes fulfilling flight requests, scheduling, and assigning aircraft and crew on behalf of L33 Jet’s 135 Certificate while maintaining a positive and productive relationship with L33 Jet’s employees, vendors, and clients
• Coordinating, scheduling and planning all flights to allow the efficient use of the aircraft and crew while minimizing empty repositioning flights to maximize profits
• Schedules and assigns mission(s) to specific company aircraft
• Schedules and assigns duties to flight crewmembers in accordance with L33 Jet’s Operational Control System
• Assists in meeting Business Unit revenue goals by booking and securing charter trips
• Provides support services for crew and passengers traveling aboard company aircraft, including flight following with flight crewmembers
• Managing heavy telephone and email interactions providing immediate responses and performing prompt follow-up is a requirement of this position.
• Guaranteeing that each flight is safely conducted and that all activities are in compliance with FAA, TSA regulations and company operations specifications.
• Additionally, provides L33 Jet’s accounting department with all necessary information in a timely manner to allow the generation of invoices for services rendered
• Maintains a close, productive, and beneficial relationship with flight crew personnel, maintenance personnel, line service, and other L33 Jet personnel
• Ensures the safety and quality of all assigned duties and responsibilities by actively participating in L33 Jet’s SQMS program

Schedule
General office hours, along with after-hours (evening), weekend, and holiday on-call rotation as a shared responsibility within the department.
Qualifications and Skills
Preferred Qualifications of Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum of two years experience in FAA Part 135 Aircraft Operations Experience (comparable experience in high values sales, logistics or private Part 91 aircraft management is beneficial but in addition to required industry experience)
• Two- or four-year college degree 
• Dispatch license preferred but not required
• Proven track record of professionally managed aircraft accounts (with references) or Charter Operations
• Knowledge of FARs, domestic and world geography and business aircraft
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to be a team player with a positive attitude in high pressure environment
• Exceptional computer/mobile/technology skills
• Flight scheduling software experience required (JetInsight, Avinode, FOS, etc.)
• Preference given to those local to the Greater San Diego Area.
• Remote work is considered.
