Job Title: Correctional Nurse (RN) Location: Youngstown, Ohio 44505 Schedule: Night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM), 3 days per week. Hours: 36 hours per week guaranteed. Job Summary: The Correctional Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care within a secure correctional environment. This role involves direct patient care, medication administration, emergency response, and collaboration with licensed providers to ensure appropriate treatment for inmates/residents. The RN ensures the delivery of medical services meets regulatory standards and supports the overall health and safety of the incarcerated population. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to inmates/residents, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Administer prescribed medications and treatments, documenting all activity accurately. Assist licensed providers during examinations and medical procedures. Perform clinical procedures within RN scope, including emergency care and triage. Coordinate with healthcare providers and facility staff to manage medical services and referrals. Conduct routine sick calls and maintain accurate patient medical records. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a degree/diploma in nursing.
