Base pay range $119,262.00/yr - $164,164.00/yr Company Description The San Francisco Department of Emergency Management (DEM) leads the City in planning, preparedness, communication, response, and recovery for daily emergencies, large scale citywide events, and major disasters. DEM is the vital link in emergency communication between the public and first responders, ensuring efficient coordination and leadership. The department plays a key role in collaborating with City departments, stakeholders, residents, and visitors to enhance the city’s emergency management capabilities. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Entry-Level Police Officer (Q002) with the San Francisco Police Department. The Police Officer will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas, enforcing laws, responding to emergencies, conducting investigations, gathering evidence, and maintaining public order. The Police Officer will work closely with community members to ensure safety and provide assistance as needed. Regular duties also include report writing, attending court proceedings, and participating in ongoing training and professional development.
