A K-12 school in New Orleans, LA is seeking an experienced ESL Teacher for a contract position lasting the current school year (CSY). This role is ideal for educators with a strong background in English as a Second Language instruction, committed to supporting diverse learners in a dynamic school environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging ESL lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
• Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instruction to meet individual needs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to support English language learners
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages language acquisition
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and language development

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification with ESL endorsement
• Experience teaching K-12 ESL students in a school setting
