An Internal Medicine Physician is sought to join a regional healthcare system in southwest Georgia, focusing on outpatient care and precepting a growing group of Internal Medicine residents. The role involves daytime clinic hours without nights or weekends and emphasizes teaching, leadership, and communication skills. This southwest Georgia medical center, a JCAHO accredited facility, is seeking an Internal Medicine physician to join our team to precept our growing group of IM Residents and build their own practice in our outpatient clinic. Our program currently consists of 13 residents, which will grow to 17 in 2025 and ultimately 24 residents at full complement (8 per year).
This position offers daytime 8-5 work with no nights or weekends. The physician would precept residents in the clinic and have dedicated days seeing their own clinic patients.
