Overview As a TAG Mechanical Engineer, you will assist the Engineering team providing engineering services, technical training support and development of unique products to fuel the customer’s mission. Roles And Responsibilities Design and generate CAD models of new products to be produced in a variety of materials. Generate accurate CAD models of existing items using various measurement tools. Evaluate designs through simulation, prototype testing and requirement verification. Troubleshoot design failure modes to root cause and develop quick, effective solutions. Provide support to production, as needed. Generate associated documentation including detail drawings, assembly drawings, etc. Security The ability to obtain a SECRET clearance is required. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering SOLIDWORKS proficiency Generate technical drawings for fabrication CNC experience 3D printing experience Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency The ability to obtain a SECRET clearance is required.
