Engagement: Confidential Federal Agency

Role: Entry Level - Mid-Level International Trade & Policy Analyst (Onsite)

Project Location : Washington, DC (80% on client-site )

Important : Candidate Must reside in the DC Metro area and Must be a US Citizen and must currently possess an active Public Trust Clearance 

Role : This position is supporting a high priority and confidential mission of a federal agency and will work directly with the executive leadership of a program and interact regularly with executive level stakeholders across multiple agencies.

Position Description and Responsibilities:

• Provide program/project management, inter-organizational collaboration, governance, stakeholder engagement, process development, strategic communications, and decision support
• Assess, initiate, and interpret governmental economic factors and policy in order to perform cost-benefit analysis and research of a quantitative and qualitative nature used to develop federal policy
• Conduct research, analysis, and interpretation of relevant regulations, policies, and associated processes
• Support the development of policy and position memos, technical reports or other documents based upon research, investigation or analysis.
• Support the development and administration of industry surveys
• Manage and monitor database and produce data visualization dashboards
• Present analysis results and make recommendations to policy officials with information necessary to make informed decisions and take appropriate action on specific state program operations, issues and policies.
• Prepare and maintain program documents, memoranda, and correspondence

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in economics, English, public policy, government, or related field is Required
• Masters Degree in international trade, public policy, or related field is preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the federal government space is required
• Experience conduct economic and/or international trade analysis is required
• Experience in researching, analyzing, and reporting on federal regulations and policies is required
• Experience in preparing and delivering executive-level briefings is prepared
• Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must possess proficiency with SharePoint and Power BI
• Must possess strong MS Office suite, especially in MS PowerPoint
• Very strong and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Works well independently and as a team
• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have an active Public Trust Clearance
