Job Summary:* We are looking for motivated Owner Operator Drivers to join our team. As an Owner Operator Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various destinations in a safe and timely manner. This position offers competitive compensation based on deliveries completed, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to operate as an independent contractor.
*Duties:* - Operate your own van or box truck to deliver goods following all safety regulations and company protocols. - Receive delivery assignments and routes from the dispatch team for efficient transportation of goods. - Load, transport, and unload goods securely and promptly while adhering to delivery schedules. - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including necessary documentation and proof of delivery. - Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and colleagues to ensure smooth delivery operations. - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and special instructions promptly. - Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all times to prioritize safety during transportation. - Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks for safe operation of your delivery vehicle.
*Skills:* - Experience as a van driver or box truck driver preferred. - Ability to load and unload goods efficiently. - Proficiency in commercial driving practices. - Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus. - Customer service-oriented mindset for excellent client interactions. - Forklift experience is advantageous. - Comfortable with tractor-trailer operations if needed. You can use any size vehicle, from sedans for smaller deliveries to box trucks for larger items. We utilize the OneRail 2.0 driver app, which helps you manage your delivery status and receive notifications for delivery requests based on your location.
