Overview

Senior Director of Piatti Brand Operations. Palisades Hospitality is seeking a Senior Director of Operations to oversee the Piatti Brand. This position will be based out of the flagship location and home office in Mill Valley, CA. Employment entity will be Piatti. Locations are throughout CA, with one location in Seattle, WA and two in San Antonio, TX, and will continue to expand. This is a hybrid position that requires 2 days in the home office and the ability to travel frequently. Relocation assistance is available for candidates with experience overseeing multi-unit restaurant operations.

What you would do

The Senior Director of Brand Operations is a key position in aligning and moving the Piatti brand forward, built on a foundation of a people-focused culture where quality, consistency and creativity are the roadmap. Work with our Regional Director of Operations and General Managers to drive service culture, food quality and consistency and overall restaurant performance. This is a field-based position and travel will be required. This role will be heavily involved in brand expansion including pre-opening and opening endeavors, working closely with the pre-opening team. A successful Director must be an inspirational leader for both front and back of house, support and execute the brands vision, spark creativity, and drive results through quality standards. Success will be measured by financial results, guest loyalty, and the retention and development of employees.

Essential Functions

• Building brand strength through financial performance, KPI and expansion.
• Support and embody a company culture in line with the mission, vision, and values of Palisades Hospitality.
• Develop strategies based in a culture of creativity for identifying new and unique opportunities for revenue generation within the Piatti brand.
• Recruit and train new leaders within the brand.
• Develop and execute any new company initiative rollouts to your team, with support from relevant functional department heads.
• Create annual business plans for each of the restaurants with the support of the property leadership team.
• Maintain a quality culture by setting clear expectations for restaurant General Managers and Chefs and ensuring company standards are adhered to.
• Ensure the guest dining experience is remarkable in all aspects.
• Collaborate across functional departments (Accounting + Finance, Marketing, IT and People + Culture) to foster desired business results through both guest and employee experiences.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the senior Operations team to create, edit and/or advance useful tools, initiatives, and strategies for the field.
• Lead the oversight of portfolio-wide annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, ongoing marketing, and operating planning.
• Serve as the key point of contact with Ownership groups and brand partners.
• Proactively identify deficiencies and progress in team performance and address in a timely manner.
• Ensure operations are compliant with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and fully aligned with franchise operating agreements.
