Spa & Wellness Director – Fontainebleau Las Vegas Position Overview The Director of Spa & Wellness oversees the day‑to‑day operations of the Spa and Fitness Center, developing strategic plans and setting goals for both departments. The role ensures guest and Team Member satisfaction, achieves the operating budget, and adheres to all company, safety, and departmental policies and procedures. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of thermal experiences, Reboot Lounge, Nail Salon, spa treatments, and Fitness Center. Achieve sales goals, business objectives, and profitability. Monitor payroll and expenditures to meet the spa profit plan. Recruit, hire, and train qualified service providers and support staff. Develop, implement, and uphold sales and guest service training, leading by example. Maintain operation efficiency and adherence to policies and procedures. Keep up-to-date knowledge of facility products, features, amenities, and services. Ensure all guest interactions exceed property operating standards. Maintain proper inventories of spa equipment and supplies to manage operational cost. Inspect equipment to ensure maintenance and coordinated with Facilities when necessary. Review and guide employee performance regularly. Set standards for sanitary maintenance, complying with health regulations. Assist in developing business, marketing plans, and short‑ and long‑term goals. Monitor annual budget and forecast, reviewing monthly financial statements. Control expenses, develop financial strategies to increase revenue while managing operating costs. Develop vendor partnerships, securing competitive pricing and support. Hold regular staff meetings to update the team on spa and fitness operations. Obtain and maintain position‑specific licensing. Implement Fontainebleau core values and property standards. Other duties as assigned. Adjust duties as necessary based on business needs. Qualification Requirements Minimum 6 years of hotel operations or spa management experience. Minimum 3 years of leadership/management experience in a resort spa. Working knowledge of spa booking systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Point of Sale, Property Management, and Casino Player Tracking systems. English communication skills (written and verbal). Polished appearance and demeanor. Excellent customer service skills. Knowledge of company and departmental rules, policies, and procedures. Leadership and mentorship abilities. Legal ability to work in the U.S. and meet all eligibility requirements. Use of personal device/cellular phone for job‑related tasks. Supervisory Responsibilities This position supervises all positions within the Spa & Wellness and Fitness departments. Pay Transparency & Compensation This position offers a competitive salary of $140,000 per year, aligned with experience, skills, and market data.
