Overview

We are seeking a Senior-Level SQL Server Database Developer with strong hands-on experience in SQL Server Database and Data Warehouse development.

⚠️ This is NOT a BI / Reporting role. Candidates focused only on reports or dashboards should not apply.

🚫 This role is NOT for BI Report Developers

Candidates whose primary experience is in Power BI, SSRS, or dashboard/report creation without strong database, ETL, and data warehouse development experience should not apply.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ETL development using SSIS, data modeling, data marts, and Kimball methodology, with the ability to design and optimize enterprise-level data warehouse solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases and Data Warehouse solutions
• Build and optimize ETL pipelines using SSIS for large and complex data sets
• Develop and maintain data marts following Kimball dimensional modeling methodology
• Perform data modeling (fact tables, dimension tables, star/snowflake schemas)
• Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and indexes for performance
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems
• Collaborate with application teams, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Support deployment, troubleshooting, and performance tuning in production environments
• Document database designs, ETL processes, and best practices

Required Skills & Experience

• Senior-level experience as a SQL Server Database Developer
• Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server
• Significant hands-on experience with SSIS / ETL development
• Proven experience in SQL Server Data Warehouse development
• Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts
• Hands-on experience creating data marts
• Solid understanding and implementation of Kimball Methodology
• Advanced SQL skills (complex queries, performance tuning, indexing)
• Experience working with large, complex datasets

Nice to Have

• Experience with high-volume or enterprise data environments
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior developers
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
