Job Description

Our client, a leading logistics provider, is seeking a Loader / Picker to join their team. As a Loader / Picker, you will be part of the Outbound department supporting the efficient movement of goods. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to accuracy which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Loader / Picker

Location: Austin, TX

Pay Range: $18.00 per hour

What's the Job?

• Coordinate with Dispatch to identify the next available dock door for loading based on staging lane inventory and dock SLA times.
• Organize and maintain the dock area, directing Bulk Pickers for support when necessary.
• Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) via Zebra scanner or laptop to load trailers, ensuring optimal trailer cube utilization.
• Complete trailer loading within SLA timeframes, finalize paperwork, and deliver documentation to Dispatch for driver release.
• Meet or exceed performance targets, including pallets per hour, as set by the Outbound Supervisor.

What's Needed?

• Prior experience in warehouse operations or logistics preferred.
• Familiarity with WMS and RF scanning devices (e.g., Zebra scanners).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
