Forklift Operator & Pallet Sorter (1st and 2nd Shift)

Purpose of the Role
Join our fast-paced operations team where precision, safety, and performance drive success. As a Forklift Operator & Pallet Sorter, you’ll be responsible for safely operating material handling equipment and hand-sorting pallets based on manufacturer, quality, and grade. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will help us meet production goals and maintain high standards.

Key Responsibilities

🚧 Safety & Compliance

• Operate forklifts and other equipment in strict accordance with safety protocols.
• Follow all company safety behaviors, processes, and procedures without exception.

📦 Pallet Sorting & Inspection

• Hand-sort pallets quickly and accurately based on manufacturer, quality, and grade.
• Visually inspect pallets and identify repair needs using established criteria.
• Ensure sorted pallets meet quality standards before moving to the next stage.

🚜 Forklift Operation

• Safely operate forklifts to transport, load, and unload pallets and materials.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Assist with inventory movement and warehouse organization as needed.

📈 Production & Performance

• Meet and sustain daily production and quality targets.
• Work efficiently in a production-driven environment with minimal supervision.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by site leadership.

• Collaborate effectively in a diverse team environment.
• Uphold company mission and values in all interactions and tasks.

General Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs consistently throughout the shift.
• Comfortable with repetitive motions including bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Forklift certification preferred
