Job Description

Our client is seeking a Chemical Engineer to join their team. As a Chemical Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting hands-on research and development, studying chemical & material processes, along with developing new sealant products. The ideal candidate will have ability to work independently & as part of cross-functional teams, able to work under minimal supervision and exhibit a high attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Chemical Engineer
Location: Aurora, OH
Pay Rate: $90,000 to $120,000 (will be dependent on experience level)

Key Responsibilities

• Execute material process trials in lab and convert lab understandings/concepts into production processes in pilot/production.
• Record experimental details, analyze the data, summarize the results, and make recommendations based on qualitative/quantitative outcomes.
• Follow the procedures for chemical/material testing and conduct instrumental analysis of products: determining chemical compositions and material properties.

Requirements

• A degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering/Material Engineering or related fields with a solid foundation in Chemistry and demonstrated mechanical aptitudes.
• 2-5 years of experience in organic/polymeric chemical and material handling in laboratory and pilot plant, including product formulation, process evaluation, analytical measurement, and property testing
• AutoCAD experience
